Description
By Farr Viognier 2022 is a distinctive Australian white wine, characterized by its elegance, refinement, and subtle power. According to publicly available information, 
it's made from Viognier grapes from two of their own vineyards. The grapes undergo a short period of skin maceration before natural fermentation in barrels,
 resulting in a wine with a pronounced body without being overly heavy.

The aromas typically feature white peach, apricot, floral notes, and a hint of ginger spice. On the palate, it's restrained yet luscious, with concentrated fruit flavors and a finish that is slightly mineral and long.

By Farr aims to preserve the inherent acidity of Viognier, resulting in a wine that's not traditionally heavy or cloying, but rather more precise and structured.

The grapes undergo foot stomp, followed by a short period on the skins to extract phenols, flavor, and texture. They are then fermented naturally in barrels along with the solids, and gently stirred to soften the body.
