Caol Ila, pronounced "Cull Ee-la", is a small Islay distillery established in 1846, Caol Ila is considered to be the lighter, finer and more refined version of the Islay single malt whisky , Caol Ila 12 years as its entry-level product, originally debuted in the summer of 2002.
Caol Ila 12 Years Old Islay Single Malt Whisky Fresh with sweet fruit and a smooth body, this 12 Years Old Islay Single Malt Whisky masterfully balances flavors. The fresh, appetizing aroma reveals subtle citrus fruit with just a smoky bite. Firm and smooth, this 12-year-old peated whisky begins sweetly, developing fragrant smokiness and luscious smokiness, with a long lingering finish.
Color: bright gold
Aroma: Fresh, herbal. Rubbed mint leaves, stems, damp grass, smokiness. Oily, cigar leaves, smoked ham, pecans. Lemon zest in port.
Taste: Good-bodied, oily, tarry, elegant smoke.
