We loved the menthol freshness of this wine with mineral notes, eucalyptus, candied cherry, tealeaf or moist tobacco and leather. Warm, inviting and lush and tightly packed by rock-hard tannins. A very persistent finish. Imported by Masciarelli Wine Co.

Product Description

Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine DOCG from the Tuscany region of Italy. The area is located 40 kilometers south of the city of Montalcino - Siena in the southern province. The wine is made from 100 products of the Brunello Sangiovese variety, selected in 1870 from the Weingut Il Greppo of the Biondi-Santi family. The production periods of the wine culture are 1888 to 1891, 1925 to 1945, 1925 to 1945 Flaschenreife (heute noch Mindestens 5 Jahre) verkauft werden dürfen. The higher quality aspect lies in the hot climate, which is also getting warmer in Chianti-Bereichen and other regions.
