Winery Background

Château Clerc Milon, located in Pauillac, is a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé classified in the 1855 classification. Currently managed by the Baron Philippe de Rothschild group, it belongs to the same wine group as Château Mouton Rothschild, thus receiving considerable attention for its vineyard management, winemaking, and quality control.

Clerc Milon's style is generally more approachable than Mouton Rothschild, yet retains the Cabernet structure, black fruit, cedar, pencil lead, and long aging potential characteristic of Pauillac. The 2018 vintage is particularly mature and precise, combining power and finesse.

The 2018 vintage received high praise: Decanter 96 points, James Suckling 95 points, La Revue du Vin de France 95 points; Wine Advocate gave it 94+ points. Critics generally consider this one of Clerc Milon's most powerful, precise, and aging potential vintages.
