Description
Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2014 is a classic fifth-growth vintage from the Pauillac estate in Bordeaux. It's a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Merlot, 
with an alcohol content of approximately 13.5%, showcasing the typical elegance, power, and minerality of Pauillac.

The aromas include red cherry, wild strawberry, cedar, blackberry, and graphite notes. The palate is medium-bodied, lively, and well-balanced, with fine tannins and a finish of cassis, pencil shavings, and minerality. The acidity is vibrant, already quite captivating, and is expected to be at its best between 2024 and 2044.

The 2014 vintage performed exceptionally well on the Left Bank. Despite challenging weather conditions, the late ripening resulted in ideal balance. GPL received multiple scores of 92-94 points, demonstrating a blend of pure fruit flavors and classic structure.
