Château La Tour de Mons is a premier estate in Bordeaux's iconic Margaux appellation with a prestigious wine tradition.

Included in the Crédit Agricole Grand Cru category since 2012, these wines have in recent years become one of the most prestigious wines in the appellation thanks to the talented winemaker Anne Le Naour at the suggestion of experienced winemaker consultant Éric Boissenot. One of the most characteristic wines.

The 2017 vintage will be remembered for the frost that hit the vineyards of Bordeaux, and the region around La Tour de Mons was not spared. However, the efforts of the technical team finally produced a wine that represents the essence of Margaux.

From the vineyard to the winery, every effort has been made to extract the best of the vintage. Hand-picked Merlot begins September 13 and Cabernet Sauvignon ends October 2. Brewing then takes place in stainless steel vats. Château la Tour de Mons 2017 is an excellent wine from the estate. It is a blend of 50% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Cabernet Franc.

Château La Tour de Mons 2017 shows the elegance and sophistication of a fine Margaux wine, revealing the brilliance of the black fruit while emphasizing the smokiness of the oak ageing. The frankness of the entry tantalizes the palate with its juices and ample roundness, balanced by chewy tannins and extending to a slightly oaky finish. The 2017 vintage of Château La Tour de Mons has beautiful depth and is a real success with good aging potential.
