Dalva Reserve Tawny Porto

The Da Silva Wine Company (DALVA) is a house with a strong tradition in Port wine. Founded in 1862, its current name was defined in the first decades of the twentieth century. With a mission to produce Port wines, with high quality standards guaranteeing the prestige, reputation and perception of the brand's value. C. da Silva is known for its beautiful and exclusive "Colheitas", such as the Golden White of 1952, 1963 and 1971.

Intense and fine aroma, reminiscent of almonds, hazelnuts, dried figs, honey. Full bodied and very attractive taste, with nuances of dried fruit and spices on after taste.

Winemaking:

The Tawny Reserve ages for a period of six to eight years in barrel, exposing it to the “angels share" a gradual process of evaporation and oxidation, showing a more brownish hue. Dalva Tawny Reserve is the result of a rigorous selection of special lots.

Tasting Notes:

Store and Serve Advices:

Serve slightly chilled, between 12 and 13ºC, in an appropriate glass.

Goes well with all types of desserts especially those prepared with eggs or nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts).
