Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec Terre Lune Biodynamie Chardonnay 2024

The natural/biodynamic Chardonnay from Languedoc in southern France is characterized by its fresh and powerful style, with ripe fruit and a touch of oak, emphasizing the winemaking philosophy of the "moon" and the rhythm of the biological calendar.

Winehouse: Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec (Languedoc Coursan, family-run for over four generations)

Series: Terre Lune/Lune Biodynamie, symbolizing biodynamic winemaking in harmony with the rhythm of the moon

Region: IGP Pays d’Oc, Mediterranean climate in southern France

Vegetables and Certifications: Organic + Biodynamic, Demeter certified; most wines use little or no sulfur dioxide, fermented with natural yeasts.

Soil: Topsoil of pebbles and gravel + bottoms of clay and limestone, contributing ripe fruit flavors and bright acidity.

Winemaking Method:

Lune Biodynamie: Fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks, preserving crisp fruit aromas and minerality. Nature Chardonnay 2024: Fermented in oak barrels, with no added sulfites, resulting in a fuller, more rounded flavor.
