Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite Saga Saint-Émilion 2019 is a red wine from the Saint-Émilion appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux, France. It is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon (or Cabernet Franc), with an alcohol content of 14%. Produced by the Domaines Barons de Rothschild, it is characterized by its round and elegant style and ripe fruit flavors.


The aromas are rich, with notes of toast, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ripe red and black fruits (plum, black cherry). The palate is firm and balanced, with fine tannins and a long, spicy finish, showcasing the typical velvety texture and sweet fruit flavors of Saint-Émilion.


The grapes are destemmed and crushed before temperature-controlled fermentation (30°C). A 3-week maceration period is followed by regular tannin extraction via pump-over. The wine is then aged in half of its oak barrels for 8-10 months to preserve its pure fruit flavors and elegant structure.
