Edradour 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Edradour 12 Year Old is Scotland's only completely handcrafted, small-scale, traditionally brewed Highland single malt. Produced in extremely limited quantities, it emphasizes traditional methods, first maturing in American bourbon barrels, then finishing in Oloroso sherry casks for 4-5 years. It has an ABV of 46%, is not cold-filtered, and retains its full, oily texture and deep flavor.

Flavor Characteristics

Aroma: Opens with honey, dried fig, red plum, and whole-grain bread, accompanied by almond, cinnamon, and a touch of oak, a sweet and balanced flavor.

Palmistry: On the palate, it's like a liquid Christmas cake, with layers of toasted almonds, orange peel spice, and dried sherry. The body is full and rich, with a hint of bittersweet chocolate.

Finish: Medium-long, dry with a warm and persistent finish of spice, nuts, and sherry.
