Oaky, with butter and toast gilding a warm layer of apple, melon and spice notes on a broad frame. Shows savory threads of salt, smoke, fennel seed and crushed rock that line the formidable finish. A well-crafted version, with nice polish and pedigree.

Brilliant clear pale golden yellow. Nose of white flowers, apricot, white peaches. Intensely powerful and elegant aromas. Freshness, round, rich and full-bodied. Fully expressive of the terroir. Great finesse and freshness. A pleasant light acidity is well balanced with round fleshy fruitiness.
