Ferrari Brut F1 DOC Sparkling NV (RP89)

Historic and famous winery producing Trento DOC Metodo Classico sparkling wines, Cantine Ferrari was founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari, with the aim of creating a great Italian sparkling wine in Trentino. In 1952, the Lunelli family took over the company continuing the activity of Ferrari aimed at the production of sparkling wines able to compete with French Champagnes.

Their wines have become famous all over the world, and from 2021 Ferrari Trentodoc has been the official toast on the world's most iconic podium to celebrate the victories of the great Formula 1 champions. To commemorate this success, the Lunelli have put on the market a Special Edition of their sparkling wine.

A collectible Trentodoc, obtained from 100% Chardonnay, left to mature on the lees for 36 months. The nose is full of aromas of peach, plum, pink grapefruit, and orange blossom, followed by hints of shortcrust pastry and glazed almond. The perlage is fine and velvety, taut and persistent, elegant with a long finish and delicate citrus notes. This is the perfect wine for a special occasion, as an aperitif for a romantic evening or in combination with light preparations based on fish or seafood.

The NV Brut Metodo Classico is a beautifully balanced, crisp sparkling wine with excellent definition in its white peaches, apricots, smoke and flowers. Medium in body, Brut Metodo Classico offers excellent balance in a mid-weight style. This is one of the finest sparkling wines (from any country) for the money.
