Winery Background

François Mikulski is a highly regarded boutique winery in Meursault, renowned for its clean, precise white wines that emphasize terroir and minerality.

The winery has always been relatively restrained in its oak handling, prioritizing the pure fruit flavors and earthy character of its Chardonnay;

its Crémant continues this clear and elegant style.

This Crémant is produced with the assistance of a specialized sparkling wine producer in Rully, using the traditional method (a secondary fermentation in the bottle,

similar to Champagne), and aged on lees to enhance its texture and toasting complexity.

Wine Information

Because NV wines adjust the proportions according to different batches of base wine, online information may show slight variations in the blend. The winery's current information lists 41% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Noir, 15% Aligoté, and 7% Gamay; some market batches commonly show 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and 15% Aligoté. This reflects that its core style has always been composed of the structure of Pinot Noir, the freshness of Chardonnay, and the acidity of Aligoté.
