Glengoyne 25 Year Old is a highly representative Highland single malt whisky, renowned for its 100% sherry cask maturation and extremely slow distillation, earning it the nickname "Wheat Cullen."

Casing: 100% sherry casks (primarily first-fill European sherry oak), imparting a deep amber color and an exceptionally rich sherry flavor.

Key Characteristics: It insists on using "Golden Promise" barley, slowly air-dried in warm air to preserve the barley's original delicate flavor, without any peatiness.

This whisky exhibits the characteristics of a very deep sherry cask aging process:
Aroma: Bright amber color, full of ripe aromas of red fruit, aged leather, brown sugar, and raisins.

Palate: Smooth on the palate, with flavors of soft oak, cinnamon, stewed fruit, and Seville orange marmalade, offering a rich and balanced profile.

Finish: Long and elegant, with a sweet finish of spices and licorice.
