Glenturret 12 Year Old 2025 is Glenturret Distillery's flagship single malt whisky of the year. Positioned as more understated yet refined than the "Three Casks" series,

it's dominated by sherry casks with a pronounced woody character, making it suitable for those seeking a truly "Highland sherry" experience.

Aging and Cask Type: Matured for 12 years in European and American oak casks mulched with Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry, resulting in a more pronounced sherry character.

Aroma: Rich aromas of sherry, dried fruit, vanilla, and chocolate sweetness, accompanied by citrus, toasted oak, and warm spices such as ginger and cinnamon, leaning towards a "rich Highland" style.

Palmistry: Dried fruit, caramel, orange peel, toasted spices, and a slight leather/woody note. Medium to full-bodied, with a finish that is subtly toasted woody and sweet.

The 2025 version averages about 85–86/100 on international rating systems (such as Whiskybase), which is considered a 12-year-old product that is "delicious, layered but not overly fussy".
