Gordon & Macphail Connoisseurs Choice Linkwood 1984 34 Years Old Cask Strength

Rich sherry aromas with hints of blackcurrant, jasmine and rose. Indulgently sweet brown sugar interspersed by aniseed, bitter orange, and dry tobacco transform into a lingering forest fruit finish.

A well-aged Linkwood, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at cask strength for the Connoisseurs Choice collection. It was distilled on 7 March 1984, matured for 34 years in a first-fill sherry butt and bottled on 25 July 2018. It builds a rich and complex castle on top of Linkwood's elegant and well-structured character, with rich sherry-cask fruit balanced by darker notes of oaky spice and tobacco.
