Description

Suntory's fifth-generation master blender, Shinji Fukuyo, once described Hibiki as "not for sale, but for experience." The new Hibiki 12-Year-Old continues this philosophy, blended from spirits from the Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita distilleries, showcasing the brand's signature multi-layered balance.

The body is based on Yamazaki distillery's American white oak cask-aged malt whisky, bringing out sweet aromas of toffee and cream. Spanish oak cask-aged spirit adds notes of cinnamon, spice, and citrus peel. Finally, precious Mizunara oak cask spirit imparts the signature oud, sandalwood, and incense finish, creating a delicate layering of floral, fruity, and woody aromas.

Beyond the spirit itself, the new Hibiki 12-Year-Old retains the brand's highly recognizable 24-faceted bottle design, symbolizing the 24 solar terms of the year and the 24 hours of the day. This time, the bottle also incorporates watercolor art of cherry blossoms and streams, echoing Japanese natural aesthetics with springtime scenery, further enhancing its collectability.
