High West A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 12 Scene 7 is a limited edition straight rye whiskey from High West Distillery in Utah, USA. It features a unique blend of bourbon and rye whiskeys, finished in port wine barrels and French oak barrels. This distinctive cask maturation imparts soft notes of vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon, complemented by the plum and dried fruit aromas from the port barrels, and layered spice from the French oak.

With an alcohol strength of around 49.3%, the whiskey offers not only intense spice but also complex aromas of cherry, herbs, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with sweet caramel blending with spicy notes, transitioning into tobacco and blueberry fruit flavors in the mid to late palate. The finish is long, carrying blackberry and red berry undertones, presenting a richly layered whiskey that balances power with elegance.

This expression is part of High West’s limited series and is an excellent choice for enthusiasts who appreciate deep, complex flavors with mature fruit notes.
