Kavalan Peatist ex-Bourbon Cask Single Cask Strength is the bourbon cask version of Kavalan's "Peat Seeker" series, featuring a "light smokiness + tropical fruit aromas + oak sweetness" approach, unlike the heavy peaty style of traditional Scottish Islay.

This whisky belongs to the Kavalan Taiwan single malt whisky family, primarily combining peaty malt with American bourbon casks. It typically has an ABV of 55.6% and is usually sold in 700ml bottles.

Its distinctive feature lies in achieving a smoother, sweeter balance between the tropical fruit notes of Taiwan and the peaty smokiness.

Flavor Profile: The official flavor description mentions a gentle peaty smokiness on the nose, followed by tropical fruit aromas such as mango, banana, and dried longan.
