La Parde de Haut Bailly is the second wine of Château Haut-Bailly, located in the Graves appellation’s Pessac-Léognan subregion of Bordeaux. Renowned for elegant, refined, and complex wines, Haut-Bailly’s second wine offers a more approachable style while maintaining the estate’s signature character. The 2015 vintage benefited from ideal weather conditions, producing well-ripened, balanced grapes and an outstanding wine.

This blend emphasizes Merlot’s rich fruit and smoothness, complemented by the structure and depth of Cabernet Sauvignon, resulting in a balanced and layered wine.

The wine was aged about 12 months in oak barrels, with roughly 30% new oak, enhancing aromatic complexity and body. The winemaking process focuses on preserving fruit purity and balanced tannins.

Deep purple-red in color, the nose is forward and enticing with aromas of smoke, blackberries, cherries, graphite, and tobacco, with a touch of licorice. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with fine tannins and balanced structure. The finish reveals subtle minerality and spice, delivering an elegant and lively style. Pairs well with red meats and grilled dishes.
