La Petite Odyssée Rouge Saillant 2021
La Petite Odyssée Rouge Saillant 2021 is a natural red wine from Antoine Bernardin in southwestern France. Grown in the gravelly soils at the foot of the Pyrenees in the Haute-Garonne department, it's a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, entirely organically and biodynamically grown, showcasing a fresh and balanced Southern French style.
Antoine Bernardin founded his small 8-hectare winery in 2019. A graduate in oenology, he insists on minimal intervention, hand-harvesting the grapes and using natural yeasts, focusing on the pure expression of the terroir.
The aromas are bursting with ripe red and black fruits, sweet spices, cocoa, and violets. The palate opens with round, fruity notes, finishing with velvety tannins, bright acidity, and spiciness. The wine is well-balanced, easy to drink, and medium-bodied.
It pairs well with roast duck, grilled meats, aged cheeses, or Mediterranean cuisine. Best enjoyed after 30 minutes of decanting. 
A high-quality, natural red wine for beginners.
