La Spinetta Barbaresco Valeirano DOCG 2007(WA 93)


Complex, profound, elegant
Valeirano displays surprising minerality, supported with phenomenal structure. Hints of tea leaf and balsamic notes on the nose and palate recur.
The finish is intense, while tannins are noble.

Vinification
Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats for an average period of 18 days. Malolactic fermentation done in French oak barrels, of which 30% new and the remaining second passage, followed by 20 months of aging. Finally, bottle aging for about 6 months

Tasting notes
Color：Ruby red
Aroma：Complex aroma with rich layers of mineral, sage, black tea, plum, mint, green grass and cranberry.
Taste：It is smooth and silky in the mouth, with delicate tannins, complete structure and long-lasting aftertaste.
Suitable for drinking now and can be stored until 2030.
