This is a dark, precious single malt whisky with a complex aroma of wine and wood, peaty smoky spice, surrounded by toasted figs. At the first entrance, it is smooth and oily, with a flash of sweetness; then the salt and pepper flavors bring out the salty and strong smoky flavor.

Diageo, a long-established wine merchant, once again crossed the boundaries of Scotch whisky this year, bringing together the best single malt Scotch whisky and launching the Special Releases series called "Legends Untold".
Curated by Diageo Master Blender Dr Craig Wilson, the new collection features a distinctive and legendary selection of eight different brands of whisky, each with a smell, taste and appearance that ties in with this year's 'Legends Untold' theme.
The new collection has aroused the curiosity of whisky lovers, Dr Wilson said: "The mysterious charm of this year's collection is that it shows the original style of the distillery. We draw inspiration from each whisky, revealing new layers and depths of each flavor and essence, and then reveal the legend within them."
For this note series, the brand enlisted illustrator Ken Taylor to paint a graphic-led design for each decanter, inspired by the myths, flavours, casks, decanters and packaging of each local Scottish distillery. Capture their traditional essence. Each wine bottle is printed with its own QR code, which is linked to the "multi-sensory experience" of the winery's legends and stories, leading you to experience each legend.
A well-aged Lagavulin aged over 26 years in first-fill Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso seasoned casks.
Smoky, peaty, leathery, cigar woody, sweet but not overt sherry. The nose is very complex, evolving from oak spices to heavier notes of campfire and ash.
The palate offers deep sweetness, rich toffee, roasted fig and vanilla, quickly changing to oak spice and smoky peat, which intensifies over time. Classic Lagavulin texture with an ultra-smooth texture.
The finish is long, with peat on your palate and hints of the cigar box.
