Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay 2022 is one of the flagship white wines of Leeuwin Estate, a renowned winery in Margaret River, Australia. Renowned for its exceptional quality and collectible value, this wine is renowned for its balance, complexity, and aging potential, earning it the reputation of being one of Australia's greatest Chardonnays.

100% Hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes from Margaret River's premier vineyards boast over 15 years of aging potential.

The aromas are rich and complex:

Pear, Finger lime, lemon, white peach, and yellow fruit.

Cashew, sesame brittle, almond, white flowers, chamomile, jasmine, and lemon blossom.

Toast, butter, cream, minerals (graphite), and spices such as anise and cardamom.

The palate is precise and pure, with a vibrant core of pear, white peach, and lemon custard, followed by minerality, fine acidity, and a harmonious, long finish with notes of black tea, talcum powder, and chalk.

Aged in 100% new French oak barrels for approximately 10-11 months, regular stirring enhances texture and depth, imparting delicate layers of cream and toasted nuts.

Recognized as Australia's "Grand Cru Chardonnay displays vibrant citrus, high-tension acidity, and rich oak spice in its youth, becoming increasingly refined and mellow with age.

Numerous wine critics, such as Jane Faulkner (Halliday Wine Companion) and Erin Larkin (Wine Advocate), have awarded it scores of 97 points or above.

It is considered an Australian "liquid work of art" that stands alongside the world's finest white wines, such as those from Burgundy, and has enormous collector potential.
