The estate is run by Valentin Desloges, a young vigneron trained at prestigious domaines including Coche-Dury in Meursault. Ancrage is the estate’s entry-level cuvée, a pure Sauvignon Blanc designed to express the freshness and purity of the Cher Valley terroir.

Vinification & Style
Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from younger vines on the estate’s parcels in the Cher Valley. The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in stainless steel to preserve freshness and fruit purity. The style is bright, crisp and mineral-driven, with vibrant citrus, orchard fruit and a clean, saline finish. Compared to the estate’s barrel-aged cuvées (Chapitre 1, Bel Air), Ancrage is more direct, fresh and fruit-forward.

Colour: Bright, with silver and green-gold reflections.
Nose: Citrus zest, green apple, white flowers, fresh herbs, with subtle pineapple and passion fruit notes.
Palate: Light- to medium-bodied, crisp and lively, with bright citrus, orchard fruit and a saline, mineral edge. Clean acidity and a pure, fruit-driven profile.
Finish: Fresh and clean, with lingering citrus and mineral notes.
