Louis Jadot Chablis 2022

The Chablis vineyards lie along a little river aptly named the Serein ("serene"). Vines began to grow here during the Roman era. The main substrate is Jurassic limestone (specifically, Kimmeridgian limestone) laid down some 150 million years ago.

The AOC Chablis status was created in January 1938, thus comfirming the excellent qualities of this dry white wine.

Tasting Notes:

The 2022 Chablis is pristine, bright and fresh with high acidity and citrus and mineral aromas and flavors. It pairs perfectly with seafood, vegetable tempura, cheviche, salmon tartar and chicken yakitori.
