Macallan 25 Years Old Fine Oak is a discontinued 25-year-old single malt whisky from The Macallan's Fine Oak series, later renamed Triple Cask Matured. It was matured in three types of oak casks: European sherry casks, American sherry casks, and American bourbon casks. The style is lighter and more floral and fruity than the classic Macallan Sherry Oak 25 Years Old.

Flavor Profile

Aroma: Peach, blood orange, floral, honey, and woody spices.

Palp: Coconut, vanilla, raisins, lemon, and a hint of peaty.

Finish: Long, with notes of sherry, orange peel, and spices.

Overall Style: The 25-year aging provides a mature and refined woody character; the three-cask blend contributes to a more elegant character,

avoiding the heavy sweetness of the heavily sherry cask version.
