The "Litha" in the name of Macallan Litha means "light" in Gaelic. It is also the name given by the Celts to the summer solstice. According to the official website description, "The summer solstice is a turning point. When two different forces meet, It is a powerful moment, an eternal first encounter that makes the days longer and brings new light and new life to the world. He is celebrated by countless cultures everywhere.

The Macallan uses a 100% sherry barrel maturation process to bring a delicate and sweet whiskey. The new product launched by the distillery this time, "The Macallan Litha", uses whiskey from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. La Frontera) is matured in sherry barrels. The China-limited "The Macallan Litha" packaging is drawn by Chinese-American illustrator "Sija Hong". This artwork will express the moment when two different forces meet for the first time. The blue and blue peacocks in the design symbolize Scotland, and the red and red horses symbolize Spain.
