Masi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Costasera 2020 (JS94)

Masi Amarone, the internationally renowned and iconic Amarone from the Veneto region, is owned by Masi Winery.

Features
It is a blend of 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, and 5% Molinara grapes.

Using the appassimento (dried grape) technique, the grapes are sun-dried on bamboo racks for 2-3 months, enhancing the wine's richness and complexity.

The wine is deep red with a ruby ​​hue. The aroma is characterized by dark black cherry, plum, roasted coffee, spice, and hints of tobacco and shiso. The palate is fruity, full-bodied, yet smooth, with a lingering finish of spices and forest floor notes.

With an alcohol content of 15%, it offers excellent aging potential, promising over ten years.

Vinification and Aging: The main body is aged for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, with 20% in small Allier French oak barrels, exhibiting complex and elegant wood flavors.
