Michel Bouzereau et Fils Bourgogne Côte d'Or Chardonnay 2019 is a village-level Chardonnay from a renowned Meursault estate. It's made from 60% Meursault and 40% Puligny grapes, aged for 12 months in barrels, showcasing a rich balance of fruit and minerality.


Château: Michel Bouzereau et Fils, a traditional family-owned winery in Meursault, recently transitioning to biodynamic methods.


Vineyard: Located on the edge of Meursault, a truly exceptional "pseudo-village" plot.


Vintage: 2019. The warm vintage results in full-bodied fruit while maintaining bright acidity.


Aromas: Shearing grass, apricot, bergamot, white flowers, with hints of creamy vanilla and subtle minerality.


Palmistry: A refreshing bitter lemon opening, medium-bodied, with layers of pear, white peach, and nuts, culminating in a bright, dry finish.


Finish: Short and crisp, with citrus peel and a slightly salty finish.

It offers more features than a typical Bourgogne Blanc, is close to the quality of an entry-level Meursault, and offers excellent value for money.
