Nikka Fortune ’80 Blended Whisky 1980-90''s


This is a discontinued Japanese blended whisky, produced between 1980 and 1990, and is now very rare. The label usually displays the name Taketsuru, a tribute to Nikka's founder, Masataka Taketsuru.

Nose: wax, ceder wood, flowers, green tea, dry wine, some citrus and light mineral notes
Palate: strong with spices, sweetness, also savoury notes, honey, ceder wood, old oak, dusty books, some tobacco and wax
Finish: medium long with fresh notes of honey, pear and tannins
