SHINOBU - Chosokabe - Cognac Single Cask / Cask Strength 700ml

SHINOBU Chosokabe Cognac Single Cask Cask Strength is a limited-edition Japanese single malt whisky named after the famous Sengoku warlord Chōsokabe Motochika, symbolizing fearless spirit and determination. It is bottled at 700ml with a high alcohol content of 58%.

Vintage and Production
Bottled in June 2025, this release is limited to 300 bottles worldwide, making it rare and highly collectible.

Production and Style
This whisky is matured exclusively in rare Cognac oak single casks, utilizing traditional Japanese geothermal distillation techniques unique to Shinobu Distillery. The Cognac casks impart rich fruity and vanilla notes that complement the delicate malt aromas, offering complex layers and a bold character.

Aroma: Rich with ripe fruit, vanilla, oak, and spice notes
Palate: Full-bodied and rounded with flavors of caramel, toasted oak, and spices; the whisky is delicate yet well balanced with a long finish.
