The Shinobu Distillery is located along the coast of the Sea of Japan in Niigata. During winter, strong sea breezes and abundant snowfall create a natural environment that supplies countless sources of pure, soft water. The area is locally known as the land of the “three whites”—snow, rice, and sake. Shinobu Single Malt Kihei is carefully crafted by second-generation master distiller Usami Tatsuya, delivering a pure expression of intensity and balance.

This whisky is matured in Bourbon, Sherry, and Hogshead casks, showcasing rich layers of dried fruit, spices, and subtle oak. Every sip pays tribute to Kihei’s legacy of unwavering resilience, bold leadership, and enduring spirit—a journey forged by the devotion of monks and the strength of warriors.
