Tasting Notes :

Nose:

Rich dried fruits with stewed red fruits, leather, and subtle spices. Notes of dark chocolate, walnuts, and a characteristic Mortlach meaty undertone emerge with air.

Palate:

Full-bodied and oily with powerful wine sweetness, dark chocolate, black pepper, and oak. Flavors of dark berries, dried fruits, caramel, and syrupy yellow fruits. Notably nutty with a spicy fruit salad character and gentle smoky undertone.

Finish:

Long, warming, and complex with lingering spice, dark fruits, bitter cocoa, and gentle bitterness. Warming with spicy oak and a subtle saline edge.
