In the 1980-1990s, a magical era, the era when Japan's economy took off, Suntory made a bottle of shocking works

Released in the same year as Hibiki 17 in 1989. To commemorate Suntory's 90th anniversary, production ceased in 2006

Crest 12 is the predecessor of Hibiki 12, and it was released at the same time as Hibiki 17.

Crest means peak, which represents Suntory's positioning of this product, with a sense of elegance and maturity.

If you are a friend who likes the "Hibiki" series, you can try this Crest 12 years old.

Before the world paid attention to Japanese whisky, Suntory used more than 12-year-old malt liquor as the base note, and used several kinds of grain liquor that had been perfectly matured for more than 12 years to blend, bringing out the unique sweet and fruity aroma of Suntory whisky. The addition of raw wine that has been matured for more than 30 years makes the taste more mellow and full-bodied, giving it a sense of maturity.

Fragrance characteristics: You can feel the very fruity first taste. The most advanced sense of maturity is blended with the ultra-high vintage original wine of more than 30 years. The taste is soft and round, with a little plant spice in the sweetness, achieving its rich taste interpretation and perfect aftertaste performance.

Part of the charm of aged Cognac is its age, therefore the condition of the labels and bottles will not be perfect and may vary from one bottle to another. Most old wines use corks. This semi-permeable cork wood is flexible, but after decades of contact with wine it becomes brittle and easily breaks. It can be slowly turned out using an "Ah So" bottle opener.
