Description
Tsukuriwake 2024 releases four whiskies:
Hakushu 18-Year-Old Peated Malt
Yamazaki 18-Year-Old Mizunara
Yamazaki Islay Peated,
Yamazaki Golden Promise.
Bottled at 48% ABV. Notably, this is the first time Tsukuriwake has released both Yamazaki and Hakushu whiskies simultaneously! It's also the first time Tsukuriwake has included vintage labels, breaking the brand's tradition of only releasing NAS whiskies!
This collector's stand is crafted based on the patterns of the four different washi paper labels, featuring vibrant colors and gold leaf accents that echo the beauty of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The matte black base highlights the soft amber color of the labels, perfectly embodying a refined and elegant Japanese style.
"Tsukuriwake" originates from the Japanese word つくりわけ, meaning "a rich and diverse approach to whisky making, creating masterpieces through the hands of skilled artisans." "Yamazaki GOLDEN PROMISE" showcases a unique, rounded, and harmonious flavor profile using selected Golden Promise barley as its raw material; "Yamazaki ISLAY PEATED MALT" perfectly combines Islay peaty malt with the pure water of the Yamazaki brewery to create an elegant and mellow smoky flavor.
"Hakushu 18-Year-Old PEATED MALT" perfectly utilizes the brewery's unique terroir and the craftsmen's precise control over the aging process, creating a Japanese smoky peaty flavor distinct from other regions; "Yamazaki 18-Year-Old MIZUNARA" undergoes long aging in Mizunara trees unique to Japan, perfectly releasing the classic woody Japanese character of the Yamazaki brewery.
