Tamdhu Ambar Vintage 2007 Years Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Since its launch in Taiwan in 2014 with a new look, the Tandoori Distillery in Speyside, Scotland, has used precious sherry barrels to age its whiskies. It has a high proportion of first-hand sherry barrels in stock. Among the more than 100 distilleries currently in operation in Scotland, Tandoori Distillery is one of the few single malt whiskies that insists on using only precious sherry barrels for aging.

Ambar is a 14 year old single malt whisky that is matured in Oloroso sherry casks, and after aging for 14 years you will notice the profound influence of the sherry casks, turning the whisky into an impressive amber color. One pour and you’ll understand why they named their new spirit ?mbar – the Spanish word for amber.

Aroma: Raisins, orange cream and sweet biscuits with warm oak spice. The oak flavor is present throughout.

Palate: Raspberry and citrus, toffee malt and gingerbread.

Finish: Long, crescendoing with sherry and fruit notes
