🥃 The Balvenie 12 Year Old First Fill Single Barrel Whisky 🥃

The Balvenie is a range of single malt whisky crafted by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE. Each expression is unique, yet all are rich, luxurious, smooth and grounded in unique honey properties.

Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is aged for 14 years in traditional oak whisky casks before being 'finished' in casks previously holding Caribbean rum.

To create the ideal finish, Master Malt David C. Stewart MBE blends his own selection of West Indian rums into American oak barrels.

When he judged the casks were ready, the rum was replaced with 14-year-old spirits and wood was used for the finishing touches.

Aged for a minimum of 14 years in traditional oak casks and finished in Caribbean rum casks, renowned Malt Master David Stewart aimed to create his ideal finish with this whisky.

The nose is sweet and rich, with hints of creamy toffee and fresh fruit, while vanilla and sweet oak balance the palate, with the fruit developing over time.
