Introduction to the BAR TALK series:

A good whisky bar not only needs to have a rich whisky collection, but also has its own wine selection works! The BAR TALK series is a collaboration between THE WHISKYFIND and well-known whisky bars to introduce the annual wine selection works of each bar to everyone, so that whisky lovers can get a glimpse of the bar owner's wine selection style and the soul of the bar!

Bar Maeda:

Mr. Maeda was originally a chef, but later switched to the specialty barista industry. He has an unusual sensitivity to flavors, and he established his own bar BAR MAEDA in 2012. Very special, he chose RUM as the theme of the bar! In order to promote the drinking style of RUM in Japan, Mr. Maeda invented a huge 200-liter Mojito at a RUM carnival event, which became the climax of the event!

This RUM selected by BAR MAEDA comes from the famous Diamond Distillery in Guyana. When selecting barrels, Mr. Maeda hoped to find a rum that young friends would like. This single-barrel rum distilled in 2003 instantly Hit his taste buds: full of pineapple and tropical fruit flavors, the style is refreshing and neat, very comfortable! The wine label was drawn by painter ShinPo Mai with colored pencils: a girl transformed from a blue island, gazing at the moon in the night sky on the sea, is a rare tranquility and beauty.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Tropical Fruit, Pineapple, Floral, Creamy, Spice, Sandalwood, Sea Breeze, Rock.

Taste: Pickled pineapple, spices, pepper, star anise, jackfruit.

Finish: Mocha, Mineral, Vanilla Plant, Pineapple, Passion Fruit.
