The BAR TALK series is a collaboration between THE WHISKYFIND and well-known whisky bars to introduce the annual wine selection works of each bar to everyone, so that whisky lovers can get a glimpse of the bar owner's wine selection style and the soul of the bar!

★J’s Bar:

J’s Bar is located in the bustling area two minutes’ walk from Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo. It was founded by Mr. Hasumura in 1994 and has a history of 25 years. Mr. Hasumura is a pioneer in the Japanese whisky industry. He has been paying attention to the latest development of whisky for a long time and is always at the forefront of the industry. Therefore, the bar does not particularly emphasize old wines, but instead focuses on developing new contemporary production areas, new distilleries, new brands, and new thinking Consumers can always taste a variety of whiskeys at very reasonable prices in his bar, and he is always able to discover the potential of a new brand when it is just emerging. For him, J’s Bar is a good place where all whiskey lovers are welcome to enjoy whisky and exchange ideas freely.

★The Perfect Nose:

Mr. Hasumura has a hearty personality. Whiskey is like his lover. For him, the perfect whisky means the perfect aroma, so the barrel he chooses is named after The Perfect Nose. He is humorous, when discussing the wine label, he said to draw two people on it: as long as The Whiskyfind is strict, he can enjoy the perfect lover in front of him with a smile!

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Ginger ale, floral, nectar, waxy, fruity, white wine, creamy, vanilla, milky, baked cookies, lemongrass.

Taste: Plenty and round fruity flavor blended with nectar layer by layer, waxy, fresh vanilla plant, turning to hazelnut and smoke in the middle and late stages, full of oil.

Finish rhyme: long fruity, vanilla latte, slightly waxy, comfortable juice feeling.
