Valentin Zusslin Bollenberg Gewurztraminer Alsace 2020 

Valentin Zusslin Bollenberg Gewürztraminer 2020, from Alsace's top biodynamic winery, is located in the Bollenberg Nature Reserve in Orschwihr, showcasing the mineral elegance and rich floral and fruity notes of its limestone terroir.

This 13th-generation family winery (founded in 1691) is managed by siblings Jean-Paul and Marie Zusslin, practicing biodynamic farming (Demeter certified). The Bollenberg vineyard is situated in Jurassic and Oligocene limestone soils. It is 100% Gewürztraminer, off-dry, with approximately 13% alcohol.

Aromas: Lime, lychee, chalk, and ginger, accompanied by spice and floral notes, pure and inviting.

Palmistry: Full-bodied and round, with almond, toasted almond, and fine tannins. The minerality balances the sweetness, resulting in a silky texture.

Finish: Long and pure, with a salty and citrusy finish, elegantly concluding. Serving Recommendations: Served at 9–11°C, pair well with foie gras, Asian dishes, or blue cheese. The acidity and minerality balance the richness. Enjoy elegantly on its own.
