Tarima Mediterráneo is a white wine made from Merseguera and Moscatell varieties from D.O.'s Volver winery. Alicante, in Valencia (Spain).

Part of the Jorge Ordóñez Winery Group, Volver Winery was founded in 2004 by winemaker Rafael Cañizares. A project with an international perspective, supporting traditional methods and naming wines of origin such as Alicante, La Mancha and Jumila.

Tarima Mediterráneo comes from 20 hectares of vines, planted in calcareous soil with very low organic matter content. The vines are over 50 years old and are traditionally cultivated with very low yields. The grapes are harvested when they are at their optimum ripeness.

At the winery, Tarima Mediterráneo grapes are carefully selected and destemmed. After a light pressing, the very clean grape juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. After the wine has been filtered and clarified, it is ready to be bottled.

Made from two main varieties of D.O. With a strong maritime influence, Tarima Mediterráneo is a white wine that perfectly expresses the Mediterranean character of the region.
