• Yann Durieux, a nice guy with an offbeat style and a charming smile, working for more than 10 years at the Prieuré-Roch winery , is one of our favourite up and coming producers who is quickly gaining a lot of attention as a leading natural and biodynamic winemaker.

• Vinifying his first solo vintage at just the age of 13, it was clear his real passion lied in winemaking especially in the fascinating terroir in Burgundy.

• This committed winemaker’s policy is simple but rare in the area:

He is a natural wine fundamentalist.

• But make no mistake: behind his super cool appearance, Yann is a meticulous, determined, hard-working perfectionist, which makes him the future of Burgundy. Watch out, he is pure talent!

This 2019 vintage of Chateau Desson’s dry red is an excellent expression of the Pinot Noir grape. This wine is light and aromatic, with a clean mouthfeel and a long finish. It is recommended to decant one hour before serving to fully release the flavor. It pairs well with a variety of foods, including grilled meats, mushroom dishes, and cheese platters. The wine is sealed with a cork, preserving the freshness and integrity of the wine.
