Description

Yuki no Mado Dry Gin is the first Hokkaido gin produced under the white magnolia tree. Distilled from 14 plants, including snowmelt from Mount Daisetsuzan, Higashikawa rice koji, and tender linden leaves from the local area, it offers a refreshing blend of yuzu and citrus, followed by the coolness of forest needles, and then a mellow finish from the rice koji – like opening a small window into the northern countryside to feel the cleanest air after a snowfall.

Flavor Profile: This gin has a juniper berry base, opening with bright and refreshing yuzu and citrus, followed by the cool forest feel of linden needles; the rice koji provides a warm, slightly grainy sweetness and depth, finishing cleanly and transparently, as refreshing as the air after a snowfall.

It's not positioned as a strong, traditional London dry gin, but rather a "snowy forest" gin with a Japanese terroir feel: citrus, needles, floral aromas, and the sweetness of the rice koji are balanced, resulting in a more delicate and easy-drinking spirit.
