Bouchard Père et Fils laid the foundation in Volnay in 1731, and has been there for more than 290 years. Bouchard Père et Fils Manor was established in Fort Bern in the early 19th century, and its original style is still preserved today. All wine cellars are placed in the underground wine cellar of the castle, and some of the walls are up to 7 meters thick, so it can maintain 14 °C and ideal humidity indoors, which is an excellent natural storage environment.

In 2005, a magnificent winemaking facility "The Cuverie Saint-Vincent" was officially inaugurated. The wine brewing tank is located 5 meters below the ground, allowing grapes to flow naturally into 138 impregnating tanks or presses through gravity.
