Springbank Distillers

Springbank Distillery was founded in 1828 and is one of the earliest legal distilleries in Scotland. Springbank is located in Campbeltown. The distillery is one of only three remaining in the Argyll region, and the whiskey is renowned for its traditional production methods and unique style, with rich flavor and complexity.
Springbank is committed to maintaining traditional handcrafting. From malting, grinding, fermenting, distilling to aging, they do it with attention to detail and quality control.
The distillery uses a traditional triple distillation process, which is a rare method in Scotch whiskey (usually double distillation). This method of distillation produces a richer and more complex taste, giving Springbank whiskey its unique flavor profile.
Several types of whiskey are produced within the same distillery, including Springbank, Hazelburn and Longrow. The Springbank range typically features rich flavors of fruit, malt and sea salt. The Hazelburn range is smokeless and triple distilled whiskey, presenting a softer and fresher flavour. The Longrow range is a smoky style whiskey with rich smoke and peat flavours.
Springbank uses local barley and water sources to produce its whiskey, allowing its product to reflect the character of the local land and climate. This focus on local ingredients helps give Springbank whiskey a unique geographical character.
