🥃Arran Sauternes Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky 🥃

Arran's home town of Lochranza has some of the purest water in all of Scotland and this rainwater collects at Loch na Davie on the beautiful hills behind the distillery.

Crystal clear water pours down the hillside and through six unassuming waterfalls, each further purifying.

The purity of the water means we can create a water that is all natural, pure, clean and luscious.

Arran never uses chill filtration to add caramel or remove flavour, and Arran's whisky is typically served at 46% ABV.

This bottling of Arran single malt whisky is 'finished' in casks that previously held Bordeaux liqueur.

Arran's Master Distiller, James MacTaggart, carefully monitors this secondary maturation period to ensure the perfect balance between Sauternes casks and the inherent sweet fruit of the Arran Malt.

The end result is a single malt whisky with rich brooding character, full of complexity and quality.

Dried apricots preserved in honey, banana fritters, stewed pears, tropical fruits and spices.

The palate offers lemon tart, volcanic salt, raisins, vanilla biscuit and toasty oak.

The finish is orange, citrus and soft honey, clean and fresh with a touch of spice.
