Profumo netto ed intenso, ricorda la ciliegia sotto spirito, arricchito da note speziate. Al gusto si presenta di buona struttura, pieno, equilibrato, con tannini setosi. Buona la persistenza che rimanda alle prime note olfattive. Ottimo con carni rosse, cacciagione e formaggi di media stagionatura.
