🇯🇵Ichiro's 秩父 Chichibu Port Pipe 2009 Japanese Single Malt Whisky🥃

The product is a single malt whisky that is aged in Pabon casks and then refilled into empty Port tubes made from Port wine shipped to Japan, where it is aged for a year. This temperature changing and aging step gives the whisky its beautiful white color and special aroma. A fruity fruit with a bright orange color, deep sweetness, and a sticky texture reminiscent of pear preserves.

It has a pleasant spicy flavor, reminiscent of cloves and vermouth, with a hint of orange, the aroma of freshly baked bread, and the mild aroma of yoghurt jam. Portugal is also famous for its cork production, and by visiting a cork oak forest, I learned that using cork helps protect nature.
