Nikka Gold & Gold, launched in 1968, is a Japanese blended whisky, combining malt and grain whisky from Nikka. Early styles were often described as having malty sweetness, vanilla, and a slight smokiness and spiciness characteristic of Yoichi malt, with a round, smooth, and somewhat full-bodied palate.

What is the Samurai Iron Cap Edition?

"Kabuto" is the Japanese word for samurai helmet. This special edition features a detachable samurai breastplate and helmet on the bottle casing, with the helmet also serving as a cap decoration, making it a highly representative design in the Japanese whisky collecting world.

Genuine, earlier iron cap/metal versions will have a noticeable weight, metallic texture, and cold touch from the armor and helmet.
